Blog Reading Made Beautiful And Simple!
I subscribe to a ton of blogs. I do. There are just so many good blogs out there I enjoy reading on a daily basis, but trying to sort through them all in Google Reader is tedious. So, of course, I found an app for that! Blogshelf (free) is the most beautiful and organized way to keep up with your favorite blogs. You can import subscriptions via Google Reader, search for blogs, browse by topic, or subscribe to one of their featured blogs.
The blogs that I go to on a daily basis are imported and I read them at night before bed. The app has been a real time saver for me because I am no longer waiting forever for Google Reader to open, and I no longer have to organize all of my blogs in folders!
The overall app looks very similar to iBooks, which is very nice. When reading the blogs, you don’t have to worry about ads, music, or extra graphics. Only the photos and videos posted to the blog post are shown. You do have the option to go to the post directly in safari if you want to leave comments.
