Create Beautiful Collages On Your iPhone And iPad With Collage It!

Being a pretty heavy Instagram user, I love to combine photos whenever I can to reduce the amount of postings.  I’ve tried many different frame and collage apps, but was never truly satisfied until I tried out Collage It! (universal – free) Not only does it offer a ton of frame options, it is one of the most eye pleasing user interfaces I’ve seen out there.

When opening up Collage It! users choose to begin a new project and choose between 28 frames and a handful of backgrounds.  You then double tap a cell to import your picture from the photo library or Facebook, or you can add text or pull an image from the web.  When the picture is in place (pinch and move it around until you get it just right) tap the image and you can either edit the image, lock in place, delete, or Collage It! which allows you to add a small amount of text to the space.  Be careful, once the text is created do not touch the photo or it will put the image in front of the text.

Once your collage is completed, you can then save it to your photo library, email it to friends or family, or share it on Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook.  Another great option is to get your image printed as a post card via Sincerely (the awesome people who created Ink Cards!)

Like I said before, I’ve tested a bunch of these frame and collage apps and by far, Collage It! is my go to choice for creating my framed shots.  I love the eye pleasing user interface, the ability to choose images from multiple sources (although, I’d love to be able to import images from Instagram too), and also the options I have to share the finished product.
