iPad And iPad Mini Smart Covers – iGuy Is A Hit In Our House
I recently had the opportunity to review the Speck iGuy Case, sold by MobileFun. As soon as it came and my girls saw it, they immediately HAD to have it. Although it is designed for the iPad 2/3/4, my original iPad fit in it nicely. I know a lot of children out there received an iPad mini for the Holidays, and they make an iGuy for them as well! MobileFun is filled with lots of different iPad Mini Smart Covers to choose from, not just the fun iGuy children will love.
My two older girls (3 and 5) received small Android tablets from their grandparents for Christmas, but they still fight over my old iPad. I’ve always been overly cautious with their iPad use because I didn’t want it breaking. Once I put the iPad into the iGuy I didn’t worry so much. They like to watch Netflix on the iPad, especially on Sunday when daddy watches football….so they just set up the movie or show they want to watch and place it on the table. They thought it was a hoot to see the iPad sanding up by itself in the iGuy case.
For the iPads that have a camera (my original one doesn’t) there is an opening so that pictures can be taken with the case attached. It was easy to get the iPad in and my girls haven’t really bothered trying to get it out -which they have done in the past many times. They like to carry the iPad around by his arms which makes my hubby a little bit nervous, but it is secure. They have dropped it a few times with no damage, but I’m still a little leery of them walking out into my kitchen with the stone tiled floors with it.
All in all, the Specks iPad case is a great buy. If my girls were to get in iPad mini, I would definitely be buying them an iGuy Mini Smart Case Cover for it!
