Attn: Families With Autism – App Idea Contest From AT&T And Autism Speaks
AT&T and Autism Speaks have joined together to request app ideas from the Autism Community. Who better to offer an app idea for Autistic children than those who know first hand? Although I am not a parent of an Autistic child, I am an aunt to one. My brother has raised his autistic daughter by himself since she was 2 years old. She is currently 18 and my family cannot be any more proud of either one of them.
If you are interested in submitting an app idea, the contest closes on February 3rd. They are accepting ideas in four different categories: verbal, non-verbal, school-age and adult. Ten finalists in each category will be selected and the community as a whole will vote on them between February 11th and February 17th. The three ideas with the most votes will win a free wifi-enables, waterproof Pantech Element Tablet from AT&T.
