Brock Lesnar surprised fans during WWE SmackDown on Friday night.

Various reports suggested that Lesnar left SmackDown following the news that Vince McMahon was resigning as CEO and administrator of the organization. Currently, it looks like it was only a story.

The news was first disclosed by Brian Alvarez of Wrestling Observer; Sean Ross Sapp tweeted that he heard Lesnar was "angry".Reached by The Post, a WWE representative declined to comment on the reports.

Responding to Alvarez, Saraya-Jade Beavis, who served as Page in WWE and recently left the organization, tweeted, "Assuming this is valid, Michael Cole criticized saying that He let the WWE Universe down."

It was a reference to a time when Sasha Banks and Naomi had an imaginative conflict with WWE and left - and that's how things were turned around by TV broadcasts.

McMahon resigned from WWE after 40 years of running the organization while the board was investigating $12 million in "quiet cash" installments to four unique past representatives with whom he had sex.
