Gigi Hadid arrested for drug possession in the Cayman Islands

 American model Gigi Hadid was arrested and fined earlier this month for marijuana possession  in the Cayman Islands.

   A 28-year-old woman and her friend were arrested  after their bags were searched when they were on vacation on a private plane on 10 July. 

  He pleaded guilty in court and paid a fine, but did not receive a prison sentence. 

  Hadid's representative said  marijuana would be legal "with a medical license" in New York. 

  “It has also been legalized for medical use in Grand Cayman since 2017.His records were open and he enjoyed his remaining time on the island.

   It's a minor matter for personal consumption, according to  the organization.  He was taken to jail and released, according to the local  Cayman Mar Road newspaper.

Still, the model loves holidays.   shared a photo from the beach on Tuesday, saying "That's all" to his Instagram followers.   

Gigi Hadid is one of the most famous models in the world and is said to be one of the highest paid models. 

She has collaborated with  luxury brands such as versace, Chanel, Fendi, Marc Jacobs and has been on the cover of more than 30 "Vogue" magazines.
